During the structured sessions, your child will participate in interactive activities with Dr. Gottlieb while seated at a desk. The assessments are engaging and require your child to listen to instructions and questions, then respond either verbally, in writing, or using an iPad, depending on the specific test. Short breaks are offered as needed to support focus and sustained effort. Each session typically lasts between 90 and 120 minutes.

Your child is welcome to bring a water bottle, a small snack, and a sweatshirt for comfort during the session. Fidgets may be helpful for some children, but toys that could be distracting are best avoided.

Dr. Gottlieb provides flexible, half-hour consultations to address your family's evolving needs, from discussing progress to planning next steps. These can also be used for a Student Conference, giving your teenager a dedicated opportunity to learn about their results and gain strategies for success.

Payment is due at the time of service. Dr. Gottlieb can provide you with a "superbill" (a detailed medical receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. While Dr. Gottlieb is an out-of-network provider, many plans offer benefits that may cover a portion of the fee or apply it toward your deductible.
